The unique spiral design of the Mortorq® recess distinguishes itself from all other automotive, commercial and industrial drive systems in the market today. The aesthetic lines of this patented recess enhance the appearance and styling of any new product design.
The shallow recess depth provides high strength while allowing for lower head profile designs. These characteristics provide the flexibility to create lighter weight assemblies that can significantly reduce material costs in both the fastener and the mating assembly. The use of the lower head profile can also assist in avoiding clearance issues in today’s more compact assemblies.
The Mortorq® spiral recess is just another example of our investment in technology and the Semblex commitment to our customers in providing them with Fastening SolutionsSM.
