Semblex Participates in National Manufacturing Day

Semblex Corporations hosted nearly 60 students/faculty from York H.S. here in Elmhurst as part of National Manufacturing Day.
The intent was to engage our local community and in particular, students, to help them learn more about what a career in manufacturing might look like, opportunities within the manufacturing. environment, and generally speaking, increase awareness of our industry.
Internally, it was an opportunity to take advantage of several talented and willing employees to serve as ambassadors for mfg. and particularly Semblex as they interacted with the students during introductions, welcome and presentations, tours of various departments (as both tour guides and station hosts), providing hospitality, and finally our three “success stories” of employees who have grown tremendously throughout their careers at Semblex. Many thanks to all who participated, either directly through your participation or indirectly as a smiling, positive face of everyday Semblex office and plant life.
